Horsy Dream wins Gr. III Grand Prix du Centre-Est

Horsy left the start alertly and dropped in second where he had a difficult time escaping from in the lane. Pierre Belloche trains this winner for Ecurie du Closet. Eric the Eel (7m Muscle Hill-Laurel America) was a very close second on the pegs for Franck Nivard, trainer Tomas Malmqvist and owner Stall Panamera Racing. Eric’s dam is a sister to Lisa American a lineage that the late Lou Guida started. Happy Valley (6f Royal Dream-Mysterious Valley) came from last to be fourth at 4.9/1 with Jean Philippe Dubois at the reins for his Ecurie Victoria Dreams and trainer Philippe Moulin. Echo des Chanlecy (9g Quinoa du Gers) landed fifth money at 28/1 for owner/trainer E.G. Blot and driver Tony Le Beller.

On the undercard was the Prix Micholet Metallerie (purse 30,000€ for five year olds, 2850 meters) and 2.1/1 odds Iron Jet (5m Charly du Noyer-Amazone Jet) scored in 1.14.5kr for driver Franck Nivard. Ecurie Hunter Valley owns this winner and Tomas Malmqvist is the trainer. Jean Etienne Dubois bred this one, he now a resident of Australia and developing thoroighbreds. Iron Jet now has six wins in 34 starts for 145,752€ earned. Ibra Meslois (5g The Best Madrik) was second at 12/1 with trainer Pierre Belloche at the lines.
