The favorite (at 9/10 odds) Elie de Beaufour (8g Royal Dream) was fourth for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire with 31/1 Elvis du Vallon (8m Reve de Beylev) home fifth for driver Ch. Cuiller.
Two year olds take the stage October 21 at Vincennes. Colts contest the Prix Louis Cauchois (54,000€ purse, 2200 meters) with Philippe Allaire’s Knockonwood (2m Ready Cash) hoping to remain unbeaten. He was won all three career starts.
The fillies race in the Prix Marcel Dejean (54,000€ purse, 2200 meters) with likely favorites being the Allaire trained Kanawa (2f Ready Cash-Sanawa) and the William Bigeon trainee Kana de Beylev (2f Express Jet), both of these have won two of their first three career starts.
