The 18/1 odds Ideal Ligneries (6m Repeat Love-Ouragane) held on to win the 12th leg of the Gr. III GNT series, this the Prix GNT (purse 90,000€, 3000 meters distance handicap), 16 starters ages 5-10) at Nantes.
Overcoming a 25 meter handicap the winner was timed in 1.13.0kr with Jean Philippe Monclin the driver and trainer. The Roger Wittmann owned trotteur now has eight wins in 49 starts for 592,350€. Hidalgo de Noes (7g Opium-Rosina du Pont) was a closing second at 7/1 odds and handicapped 25 meters with Anthony Barrier aboard for trainer Stephane Provoost and Ecurie Danover.
The 13/1 Igrec de Celland (6m Django Riff-Topaze de Tillard) was third driven by David Thomain for owner/trainer Christophe Jariel, also handicapped 25 meters. Harry de Sassy (7g Quaro) at 5.1/1 and Gino Viva (8g Sun Ceravin) at 6.3/1 completed the top five.
