Imperator d’Ela Takes Trophee Vert Leg 13

The 13th harness racing leg of the traveling turf series named Trophee Vert was at Hiipodrome Montier-en-Der as the Grand Prix Ville Montier-PMU Gaulois Jeannin (purse 50,000€, 3025 meters distance handicap, 18 starters ages 6-10).

The 2.1/1 odds Imperator d’Ela (6g Carat Williams-Reville) took the trophy timed in 1.21.9kr for his 10th career victory in 37 starts.

Anthony Barrier teamed the Matthieu Varin trainee that Ecurie Guerin owns as their charge now has 149,655€ earned. Imperator has won three straight and four of his last five appearances.

Finishing second was the 25-meter handicapped and 12/1 odds Harry de Sassy (7g Quaro) with trainer Jules Leroulley aboard for owner Mathilde Collet. Emencourt d’Azif (10g Qwerty) was third for trainer/driver/owner J.F. Senet this one off at 124/1 and battling a 50-meter handicap. Eregon de Jupilles at 83/1 was fourth ahead of 12/1 Ideal Dancer.

The 2.2/1 odds favorite Ibiki de Houele finished ninth, Gitano was 11th and Iron Jet was a miscue dq.
