Ina du Rib, Bilo Jepson take Group tests at Vincennes

Two groupe tests highlighted the Thursday (Nov. 2) program at Paris-Vincennes. In the monte Prix Xavier de Saint Paris (Gr. II purse 120,000€, 2175 meters open for five-year-olds) the 4.1/1 odds Ina du Rib (5f Uhlan du Val-Tina du Rib) scored easily in 1.11.9kr.

With jockey J.L.Cl. Dersoir aboard for Ecurie Rib and legendary trainer Joel Hallais, the winner recorded her sixth victory in 33 career starts now for 550,480€ earned. I Can Dream (5f Ubriaco-North America-And Arifant) was second as the 6/10 odds favorite handed by Alexandre Abrivard. L.C. Abrivard trains and owns the Louis Baudron bred mare. Irina de Baily (5g Look de Star-Ninon de Baily) was a distant third for jockey Guillaume Martin, trainer Bruno Bourgoin and owner Max Hulak.

The co-featured Gr. III Prix des Cevennes (purse 90,000€, 2850 meters voltstart, European 6–10-year-olds) the 12/1 Bilo Jepson (6g Timoko-Tiffany del Rio) was placed first timed in 1.12.8kr when 8.8/1 Hokkaido Jiel was disqualified albeit first across the line. Bilo Jepson was driven by Alexandre Abrivard for trainer Vitale Ciotola and owner Scuderia Nininni. The winner was eight career wins in 22 starts for 454,173€ earned. Placed second was 24/1 Elvis du Vallon (9m Reve de Beylev-Premiere de Beylev) with Franck Nivard driving for trainer Charles Cuiller. Horsy Dream (6m Scipion du Goutier-Bonanza du Closet) was placed third at 2.2/1 for pilot Eric Raffin and trainer Pierre Belloche. Hip Hop Haufor and Gu d’Heripre were placed fourth and fifth.
