The Vincennes Winter Meet ended in splendid fashion today beginning with the Prix de Centaures (purse 240,000€, Gr. I monte for4-6 year olds, 2200 meters distance handicap). Here the 8/10 favorite Granvillaise Bleue (6f Jag de Bellouet-Lady of Brevol) scored gamely in a fast 1.10.5kr for harness racing jockey Camile Levesque.
Pierre Levesque trains the eight-time career winner now of 748,260€. Michel Gallier is the winning owner.
Georgica Gede (6f Atlas de Joudes) was a rallying second for Mathieu Mottier and owner/trainer Alexandre Pillon at 6.9/1 odds. Hirondelle du Rib (5f Rolling d’Heripre) held third for jockey J.L.Cl. Dersoir, trainer Joel Hallais and Ecurie Rib. Ici C’est Paris (4m Dollar Macker) was fourth for pilot David Thomain and breeder/owner/trainer Philippe Allaire.
The Gr. III Prix du Plateau de Gravelle (purse 90,000€, 2100 meters autostart, International) went to 7/10 favorite Elie de Beaufour (8g Royal Dream-Pignata) clocked in 1.11.6kr and handled by trainer Jean Michel Bazire. This was Elie’s 26th career win now for 657,100€ earned.
Callmethebreeze (4m Trixton-Gilly LB) was second for owner/trainer Allaire and reinsman Andrea Guzzinati. Feydeau Seven (7m Redeo Josselyn) at 5.3/1 was third with Nicolas Bazire up for trainer JMB.
The Gr. I Prix de Selection (purse 240,000€, 2200 meters distance handicap, 4-6 year olds) saw 1.1/1 odds Idao de Tillard (4m Severino-America de Tillard) win handily in 1.12.0kr with Clement Duvaldestin up for trainer Thierry Duvaldestin.
Idao de Tillard won for the 10th time in his career now for 361,130€ earned for owner Cyril Sevestre. He raced from 2175 meters for four year olds.
The 3/1 odds Hohneck (5m Royal Dream-Caranca) was a game neck short second for Francois Lagadeuc at the lines for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. Hohneck raced 2200 meters timed in 1.11.5kr. Third home was 3.1/1 Italiano Vero (4m Ready Cash-Baraka) for driver David Thomain and owner/trainer Allaire racing 2175 meters. Hussard du Landret (5m Bird Parker) was fourth for Benoit Robin.

The Gr. III Internatonal monte Prix Henri Desmontils completed the day’s groupe action. The 1.9/1 odds Clegs des Champs (10g Legs du Clos-Prosperine) scored in 1.12.2kr for jockey David Thomain, trainer Thierry Raffegeau and owner J.Y. Roze. This was Clegs’ 25th career win now for 1.145,080€ earned.
The 15/1 Fire Cracker (7g Quaro) was second with Anthony Barrier at the lines. Carly (10g Rolling d’Heripre) was third for Mathieu Mottier ahead of 4/1 Boss du Meleuc (11g Lucky Blue) with Alexandre Abrivard up.
On Friday at Vincennes, Inmarosa (4f Amiral Sacha-Varkava) took the Gr. III Prix Vindex (purse 90,000€, 2700 meters, four year olds) timed in 1.13.7kr and off at 2.9/1 odds.
Leo Abrivard teamed this L.C. Abrivard trainee that Jacques Cottel owns. This was the fifth career victory for Inmarosa good for 212,140€ earned.
It’s Now Or Never (4f Charly du Noyer) was second at 34/1 for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire, driver Francois Lagadeuc, and owner Gitte Poulsen-Allaire. Instinct d’Am (4m Bold Eagle) took third for Gabriele Gelormini and trainer H.E. Bondo.
In the Prix Emile Allit Courboy (purse 75,000€, 2700 meters, European 6-11 year olds) the 9/1 odds Equinox (8m Texas Charm-Pelagle) scored in 1.13.6kr by a head for reinsman Matthieu Abrivard and trainer Jacques Bruneau. Ecurie JR owns the winner.
Tjacko Zaz (10g Crazed), at 57/1 odds, was placed second when Valzer di Poggio was a dq for pacing. Romain Congard piloted Tjacko for trainer Jean Michel Bazire (JMB). Freyja du Pont (7g Quinoa du Gers) was fourth placed third with Nicolas Bazire the trainer/driver for curie J.Y. Rayon & Co. at 8.2/1. The 3.4/1 Victor Ferm (8m Nad Al Sheba) was fifth placed fourth for Alexandre Abrivard up for trainer JMB.
