The 46/1 odds Inmarosa (7f Amiral Sacha-Varkava) rallied to the lead and held gamely for a two length victory in today’s Prix de Bourbonnais (Amerique Races Q2, Gr II International, purse 120,000€, 2850 meters, 18 starters ages 4-10) timed in 1.11.7kr over a rain soaked Paris-Vincennes course.

The winner now sports seven career wins in 67 starts for 1,126,611€ for owner Jacque Cottel, trainer Laurent Claude Abrivard and reinsman Leo Abrivard. Keep Going (5m Follow You-Discovery Bond) was second at 6.4/1 odds with trainer Mathieu Mottier up for Jose Davet. The 48/1 Izoard Vedaquais (7m Bird Parker-Dokha Vedaquaise) took third with Benjamin Rochard driving the Philippe Allaire owned and trained trotteur.

Harmony du Rabutin (8f Royal Dream-Taiga de Vive) was fourth handled by David Bekaert for trainer G.R. Huguet with fifth to 7.3/1 Borups Victory (7m Googoo Gaagaa) for driver/trainer Daniel Wajersten. Hokkaido Jiel (8m Brillantissime) at 13/1 and Immortal Doc (5m Brillantissime) completed the top seven. The first four earned a spot in the Prix d’Amerique.
