Uno du Lupin (6g Scipion du Goutier-Tina d’Hermes) scored today in the Prix Emile Allix Courboy (purse 75,000€, 2700 meters, eight European starters ages 6-11 years) at Paris-Vincennes timed in 1.11.5kr for reinsman Antoine Wiels.
Off at 7/10 favorite odds Ino won for the 16th time in 22 career starts and he has five wins and a second in his last six appearances. Jean Paul Marmion trains, owns and bred this superb performer that has earned 350,600€. Watch him in future months. Second was 2.4/1 Ibiki de Houelle (6m Love You-Savasde de Houselle) for Eric Raffin driving for trainer Franck Leblanc and owner Daniel Augereau. Isla Jet (6f Bold Eagle-Ulla Jet-Love You) was a distant third driven by Alexis Collette and 19/1 Oscar LA (8m Ready Cash-Esperance) was fourth for Francois Lagadeuc.

Tomorrow at Vincennes, as the famous Winter Meet concludes, we will see five groupe level races. Top trotteurs are present in each – Horsy Dream in the Gr. III Prix de Gravelle; Ideale du Charme and Jean Balthazar in the Gr. I Centaures; Idao de Tillard in the Gr. I Selection; Esperanza Idole in the Gr. I monte Henri Desmontils and Katchinade de Simm in the Gr. III Franck Anne. The lineups follow.
Note that Idao de Tillard has already won the Tenor de Baune, Prix d’Amerique and Prix de France. Idao de Tillard, if he wins tomorrow, will have six wins in six starts in the Winter Meet with four Gr. I scores. In comparison Face Time Bourbon was four for five with three Gr. I wins in 2019-21 for 1,487,500€; Bold Eagle had five wins in six outings with three Gr. I’s in 2015-2017. Ready Cash from 2010-2013 had nine wins in 12 starts with four Gr. I scores and 2,487,600€ earned and Jag de Bellouet from 2003-2006, three Winter Meets, earned 12 wins in 24 starts with six of those Gr. I victories.
