Inshore (6m Real de Lou-Beaute Winner) handily took the Gr. III International monte Prix Guillaume de Ballaigue (purse 90,000€, 2700 meters, nine starters ages 6-11) at Paris-Vincennes timed in 1.11.7kr.

Off at 3.3/1 odds Paul Philippe Ploquin was in the irons for L.C. Abrivard the winning owner/trainer/breeder. Inshore now has 10 career wins in 34 starts for 426,250€ earned. He bested a solid field with 1.6/1 favorite Hanna des Molles (7f Village Mystic) home second for jockey Alexandre Abrivard, trainer L.C. Abrivard and owner Jean Louis Beraud as Fulton (7g Royal Dream) landed third at 26/1 for jockey Damien Bonne, trainer Jean Michel Bazire and Ecurie de Charmes.

Filwell (9f Qwerty) at 12/1, Hirondelle de Rib (7f Rolling d’Heripre) at 5.7/1 odds and 6.5/1 Edition Gema (10f Prince Gede) completed the top six in this upper tier field of monte specialists.

At Farjestad, Sweden today the classy veteran San Moteur (7m Panne de Moteur-Aung San Suu Kyi-Ready Cash) returned to the races after a long layoff, and he took the Karlstad Metalliserving AB race for 5,160€ first money at 1.08/1 odds.

Bjorn Goop drove and trains the winner for owner Stall Arvidssons AB as San Moteur won for the 21^st time in 30 career starts. He has now earned 1,108,432€ with this his first start in 2024. He was timed in 1.11.6kr with a break at the start that he recovered from the catch rivals and sweep wide on the backside that carried into the lane.

Finishing second was 26/1 Mr. Mah Can (7g Maharajah) with Mats E. Djuse driving and 18/1 Brambling (7m Bold Eagle) captured third for trainer/driver Daniel Reden.
