Two Grand Prix de L’Uet tests took place last week at Paris-Vincennes, each with a 60,000€ purse and each raced over 2100 meters autostart.
In the colt division the 8/10 favorite Italiano Vero (4m Ready Cash-Baraka d’Henlou) was placed first timed in 1.12.3kr. David Thomain teamed this Philippe Allaire owned and trained student. Italiano won for the 13th time and advanced his career earnings to 823,150€.
Stablemate Callmethebreeze, off at 4.7/1, was first to the line and disqualified for gait issues. Ideal du Pommereux (4m Ready Cash) was third place second with Matthieu Abrivard up for trainer Sebastian Guarato, off at 8.8/1 odds. Placed third was 21/1 Louis E. Lobell (4m Ready Cash) with Tony Le Beller up for trainer Alain Rogier.
In the other division the 1.11.7kr timed winner was 1.5/1 Iway (4m Look de Star) reined by Giampaolo Minnucci for trainer Sebastian Guarato.
The 6/10 odds favorite Inoubliable (4f Prodigious-Dream Life) made her usual late run that fell short with Eric Raffin up for trainer Philippe Moulin and Jean Philippe Dubois’ Ecurie Victoria Dreams. I Want You (4f Ganymede) was third at 15/1 for trainer/driver Louis Baudron and breeder/owner Etiennette Dubois. Izoard Vedaquais was scratched and likely would have been the favorite.
