Friday’s (Nov. 4) nighttime harness racing card at Paris-Vincennes featured Gr. II Prix Louis Tillaye (purse 120,000£, monte three year olds, 2700 meters) and went to the 6/10 favorite J’Aime le Foot (3m Boccador de Simm-Elegante de Foot) in rein to jockey David Thomain for trainer Philippe Allaire and owner/breeder Patrick Hawas.
The winner recorded his seventh career triumph now for 225,550£ in life earnings. The open lengths winner defeated 69/1 Jocdor (3m Boccador de Simm) with jockey J.L. Cl. Dersoir up and 12/1 Jalisco Fligny (3m Brillantissime) for Eric Raffin and owner/trainer Franck Leblanc. 19/1 Jupiter finished fourth.
This was the second race day of the winter meet at Vincennes that goes through early March with the Prix de Selection. The meet features the Prix d’Amerique and its qualifying races, and the related Triple Crown events, the Prix de Paris and Prix de France.
