Paris-Vincennes hosted two Gr. II events for three year olds on Tuesday. The Prix Kalmia (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters for male three year olds) went to 18/1 odds Jakartas des Pres (3m Scipion du Goutier-Union des Pres) in rein to Eric Raffin, Maxime Bezier is the winning owner and trainer. This was his second career win now for 133,470€ earned. The 12/1 Juninho Dry (3m Carat Williams) was second with P.Ph. Ploquin up for trainer Sebastian Guarato. Josh Power (3m Offshore Dream), off at 21/1 odds, was third for Benjamin Rochard, teaming for trainer Benjamin Goetz.
In the Gr. II Prix Ozo – Japan Racing Association (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, female three year olds) the even-money favorite Jazzy Perrine (3f Django Riff-Trendy Perrine) scored on the front end for Eric Raffin, trainer Tomas Malmqvist and Ecurie Hunter Valley. Jazzy won for sixth time in her career and advanced her earnings to 361,252€. Race time was 1.14.7kr. The 4/1 odds Joke )3f Dollar Macker) was second for pilot Gabriele Gelormini and 19/1 Joyful Diva (3f Sam Bourbon) was home third for reinsman Franck Ouvrie.
On May 29 the 50-meter handicapped Foxtrot Sea (7m Olitro-Vezia) won the Trophee Vert fifth leg, called the Prix de la Landivisiau (purse 45,000€, 3200 meters distance handicap, for 6-10 year olds) and held at Hippodrome Landivisiau. The winner scored for the 12th time in his career now for 378,200€ earned. Cedrik Megisier owns, trains and reined the winner that defeated Galilee des Pres (6f Travel Jet) held second on the pegs for Franck Nivard. Girolamo (6m Uriel Speed) was third for owner/trainer/driver Antoine Lherete.
