Jazzman wins 90,000€ Pris Henri Cravoisier

The German bred and 2.1/1 harness racing odds Jazzman (3m Niky-Nefertite del Rio) took today’s (Jul. 22) Prix Henri Cravoisier (purse 90,000€, 1609 meters autostart, 12 three-year old starters) at Enghien-Soisy.

He was timed in an evenly rated 1.11.8kr and raced with shoes on for trainer L, C, Abrivard, driver Alexandre Abrivard and owner Jacky Lusseau. Jazzman won for the third time in five starts in FR and he now has 146,240€ earned. Kristal Josselyn (3m Bold Eagle-City Sees) was a solid closing second for driver Benjamin Rochard, trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner Sebastien DeWulf. Yvan Bernard bred this one. That was off at 12/1 odds. The 4,3/1 Knockonwood (3m Ready Cash-Don’t Explain) was third with Franck Nivard his pilot for breeder/owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. Kompostal (3m Face Time Bourbon-Cavalleria) at 4.8/1 odds landed fourth ahead of 54/1 Ebano d’Arc (3m Bird Parker-Geisha Grif) and reinsman L.Cl. Abrivard for owner/trainer L.C. Abrivard. The 73/1 Esperia CR (4m Ready Cash-Tentation As) was sixth for Franck Ouvrie and 34/1 Eclipse Gar (3m Varenne-Follia) was seventh for Matthieu Abrivard.

Today action in Sweden was at Axavalla where the featured event was the STL Gold (13,050€ to the winner, 2640 meters autostart). Here the victory went to 4.85/1 odds Kentucky River (5m Father Patrick-Flicka River-Ready Cash) timed in a rated 1.13.3kr albeit the last 600 meters was quick.

The time at the 2000 meter mark was 1.14.2kr. Finishing second at 37.3/1 odds was Dexter Chatho (10g Amour d’Haufor-Okayamia-Workaholic) handled by Gustav Johansson with 3.4/1 Emoji (7m Broad Bahn-Shelovesyoubutcher-Love You) holding third with Flemming Jensen at the lines after a pacesetter journey. The race saw well regarded Rackham, Toto Borosso and Revelation all miscue dq’s.
