Gaspar d’Angis (7g Quaro-Reveuse d’Angis) off at 5/91 odds despite being the GNY series point leader, rallied for harness racing driver Eric Raffin to win the Finale de Grand National du Trot (Gr. II, purse 150,000€, 2850 meters, 13 starters) at Vincennes, France.
Timed in 1.12.9kr the winner is trained by his owner J.M. Baudoin as he recorded lifetime victory 16 in 59 starts for earnings of 612,660€.
Gendreen (7g Boccador de Simm) was second at 13/1 odds with Matthieu Abrivard teaming the L.C. Abrivard trainee. Ganay de Banville (7m Anais de Banville) took third at 4.7/1 driven by trainer Jean Michel Bazire. Finishing fourth at 6.7/1, three lenghs back of the top three, was Emeraude de Bais (9f Repeat Love) for Franck Nivard. Hidalgo des Noes (6g Opium) at 82/1 and the 1.5/1 odds favorite Inexess Bleu (5g Vittel de Brevol) completed the top six to the line.

Je M’Envole (4m Joyau d’Amour-Vire Voltante-Love You-Olyarchy-Workaholic) won his third straight monte harness racing test today at Vincennes, this being the Prix Philippe du Rozier/Prix V&B (Gr. II International monte, purse 120,000€, 2175 meters for four-year olds).
Off at 2.3/1 odds as favorite, the winner had trainer and jockey Mathieu Mottier in the irons. Jean Pierre Dubois owns this one that Ecurie d’Mouettes bred. Dubois bred the dam and Richard William Denechere bred the second dam.
“All the way, I was at a slow trot, said Mathieu Mottier. It’s a real pleasure to fly away like this. He’s just waiting to pounce to finish.”
