Three groupe tests highlighted today’s (May 6) Paris-Vincennes harness racing program.
The Gr. II Prix Albert Demarq (purse 120,000€, 2850 meters for five-year-olds) saw 15/1 odds Ideal Ligneries (5m Repeat Love-Ouragame) rally to score times in 1.13.1kr. Franck Nivard was the winning pilot for Ecurie le Tremont and trainer Fabrice Souloy as Ideal won for the seventh time in his career now for 441,450€ earned.
The 16/1 Inmarosa (5f Amiral Sacha) was second for Leo Abrivard, trainer L.C. Abrivard and owner Jacques Cottel. The 1.8/1 favorite Iroise de la Noe (5f Tornado Bello) was third for owner/trainer/driver Thomas Levesque, this horse off an impressive win in last outing, Invincible Cash (5m Ready Cash) at 7.6/1 and Igrec de Celland (5m Django Riff) at 5.3/1 finished fourth and fifth.
The Gr. III Prix du Vaucluse (purse 70,000€, 2850 meters for four-year-olds) went to the 3/10 favorite Jushua Tree (4m Bold Eagle-Ma Sissi James) timed in 1.12.6kr for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire and Ecurie Olmenhof. Jushua Tree posted his seventh career victory now for 137,650€ earned. Jazzie Belle (4f Bolero Love) was second at 15/1 with David Thomain aboard for trainer William Bigeon and third was 8.6/1 Jiosco de Phyt’s (4m Bolero Love) with Louis Baudouin at the lines.
The third groupe event this day was the Gr. III Prix Roger Ledoyen (monte, purse 90,000€, 2850 meters for European 5–10-year-olds) and the 1.12.3kr timed winner was 12/1 odds Fougou du Dollar (8f Up And Quick-Magalie du Dollar) with Mathieu Mottier in the irons for owner Laura Ledoyen and trainer Sylvain Roger.
The 15/1 odds Granit Meslois (7g Shadow-d’Odyssee) was second for jockey Alexis Collette and trainer Pierre Belloche. Geisha Speed (7f Uriel Speed) and jockey Anthony Barrier finished third at 4/1 for trainer J.P. Monclin. Hacker Boy was fourth for Eric Raffin and Dynasty Peji landed fifth with Damien Bonne her jockey.
On Friday evening at Vincennes the Prix Arachne (purse 62,000€, 2175 meters for three-year-olds) went to the 1.12.4kr timed and 4/1 odds Keserasera (3f Uniclove-Tommette) reined by Francois Lagadeuc. This impressive Rudolphe Lagaduec trainee is owned by Franck Labarre, and he recorded career victory number three now for 59,600€ earned.
The 21/1 Killer Queen (3f Face Time Bourbon) was second for Adrian Lamy and 11/1 Ketty Angot (3f Quinoa du Gers) took third for driver/trainer F.P. Bossuet.
