Jushua Tree wins Gr. I Prix Bold Eagle

The great son of Bold Eagle, Jushua Tree (5m Bold Eagle-Ma Sissi James-Buvetier d’Aunou), rallied in the lane after a three push late in the final bend and he then carried on for a length victory timed in 1.12.3kr.

Jean Michel Bazire drove and trains the now 16-time winner in 21 starts for Ecurie Olmenhof that was off the 4/10 odds favorite. Hugues Rousseau bred the winner that now has earnings of 722,150€. He earned a ticket to the Amerique and passed for this victory against his age group. Second was 19/1 Dimitri Ferm (5m Nad Al Sheba-Tracy Chapman) handled by Matthieu Abrivard for Dream Ferm Srl and trainer Mauro Baroncini. Justin Bold (5m Bold Eagle-Udine-Coktail Jet) took third at 26/1 for Yoann Lebourgeois and trainer JR Delliaux. Fourth was the game death seat challenger 5.7/1 odds Josh Power (5m Offshore Dream-Balginette-Hasting) reined by trainer Sebastien Ernault for Ecurie BG Trot. Completing the top seven were 47/1 J’Aime le Foot, 132/1 Deus Zack and 66/1 Jakartas des Pres. There were four miscue dq’s including well-regarded Just A Gigolo.
