The 16/1 odds Kaporal des Forges (3m Face Time Bourbon-Brine des Forges-Rolling d’Heripre) romped to an easy victory timed in 1.14.2kr with Matthieu Abrivard driving for Sebastien Guarato and Ecurie Louis d’Aur. He won for the fourth time in 10 starts now for 88,795€ earned.
The 1.4/1 favorite Kid Bellay (3m Goetmals Wood-Augusta) was a distant second in the pack with Eric Raffin piloting for J.M. Baudouin the trainer. The 23/1 Keno Petteviniere (3f Enino Pomereux) was third for driver Franck Ouvrie.
In the Prix Eurynome (purse 38,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 12 two-year-old fillies) the 8/10 favorite Louisiane de Bomo (2f Ready Cash-Amelia Jet) remained undefeated in three starts for driver Benjamin Rochard, trainer William Bigeon and owner Joel Seche. Bred by Philippe Gouyon this filly was timed in 1.17.0kr and advanced her career earnings to 30,600€. The dam Amelia Jet (f, Quaker Jet – Hippodamia-Workaholic) was bred by Jean Etienne Dubois.
The rival Little Strawberry (2f Uriel Speed) was second in a photo with Franck Nivard driving for trainer Fabrice Souloy and Tramontom Srl. Lakara (2f Village Mystic) rallied for third at 10/1 odds for trainer/driver Arnaud Desmottes.
