The Prix de Septemes les Vallons (purse 30,000ā¬, 2300 meters autostart, three-year-olds) at Marseille A Borely saw 2.7/1 odds Karaka Wood (3f Fabulous Wood-Flo Wind) score in 1.16.2kr with David Bekaert driving for trainer J.A. Hernandez-Navarro and breeder/owner Jean Pierre Dubois.
This was the fillyās third career victory now with 38,470ā¬ earned. Kandie dāOrro (3f Dijon) was second at 6.5/1 for reinsman Georgies Fournigault with third to the 1.1/1 favorite Kinsland de Simm (3m Charly du Noyer) for trainer/driver Loris Garcia.
At Paris-Vincennes the Prix Jean Gabin (purse 68,000ā¬, 2850 meters, 7ā10-year-olds) went to 2.4/1 odds and 1.12.9kr timed Graal du Tresor (7g Ludo de Castelle-Melodie du Tresor) reined by his trainer Mathieu Mottier. He made a bold move after the first 1000 meters and scored easily for his ninth career win and now 215,880ā¬ earned.
Gamin des Pedrix (7m Booster Winner) was a closing second for David Thomain at 5.3/1 odds. This Severine Raimond trainee bested the third finishing 8.2/1 Equejuelo (9m Kesaco Phedo) handled by Eric Raffin for trainer Fabrice Levcier).
Tomorrow the fifth leg of the Trophee Vert series takes place at Villeneuve Sur Lot as 16 horses seek the 50,000ā¬ purse.
