Hugues Monthule teamed the Sebastien Guarato trainee for Ecurie Hunter Valley. Race time was 1.12.2kr. Monthule was the caretaker of Bold Eagle the 2016-2017 Amerique winner. The other groupe test was the Prix de Mirande (Gr III European, purse 90,000€, 2700 meters, eight starters age five) where 28/1 Lunella Leman (5f Boccador de Simm-Comete Leman) scored in 1.12.6kr with Benoit Robin up, he also the trainer/owner.
