Groupe events highlighted today’s (Nov. 26) Paris-Vincennes competitive program in France. The Gr. III Prix Vourasie (purse 60,000£, 2200 meters for two-year-old females) saw the 1.6/1 odds co-favorite Katchina de Simm (Doberman – Divine Line) score in 1.16.1kr with David Thomain at the lines for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. The winner now has three wins in as many starts for 60,300£ earned.
The co-favorite Kana de Beulev (3f Express Jet) was second for Eric Raffin, trainer William Bigeon and owner Joel Seche. Third was 8.5/1 Kabaka de Guex (3f Eridan) with Jean Michel Bazire up for Ecurie Vautors.
In the Prix Timoko (Gr. III, 60,000£ purse, 2200 meters for two-year-old males) the 5.2/1 odds Kanehameha (2m Uniclove-Vivolta Jet) prevailed in 1.14.9kr with Eric Raffin aboard. This Tomas Malmqvist trainee is owned by Ecurie Hunter Valley and with this third career victory advanced his earnings to 77,250£.
Knockonwood (2m Ready Cash-Don’t Explain) was second at 2.6/1 for David Thomain and breeder/owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. Third was 2.6/1 King Opera (2m Ready Cash-Unlimited Jet) handled by trainer William Bigeon for owner Joel Seche. This was unbeaten in four starts before today.
The Gr. III Prix de Chenonreaux (purse 80,000£, 2700 meters, European 4-5 year olds) produced a blanket finish with victory to 1.13.8kr timed and 4/10 odds Ideal du Pommeau (4m Ready Cash-Aime Moi) handled by Matthieu Abrivard for trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner Scuderia Bivans Srl. This was his 10th career victory now for 391,050£ earned.
The 13/1 Heliade du Goutier (5f Prodigious) was second for trainer Guarato, driver Gabriel Gelormini and owner Ecurie Saint Martin. Inmarosa (4f Amiral Sacha) was third at 4.9/1 odds for Leo Abrivard at the lines for trainer L.C. Abrivard.
The Prix Daniel Mietto (purse 75,000£, 2700 meters for 7-10 year olds) went to 1.13.4kr timed and 4.9/1 odds Eileen (8f Royal Dream-Liberation) with trainer Romain Derieux aboard for owner Mauricette De Sousa as the winner secured her 18th career victory for 413,150£ earned. The 2.5/1 Fakir des Ranch (7g Rockfeller Center) was second with Francois Lagadeuc up. Fakir Merite (7m Uaukir) took third at 8.3/1 with Tony Le Beller at the lines.
