The Vincennes featured Gr. II Prix Camille de Wazieres (purse 120,000€, 2700 meters voltstart, nine harness racing starters all four year olds) saw 21/1 odds Kaya Dream (4f Unbridled Charm-Volga Vici) explode late for the two length win timed in 1.13.3kr.
She raced on the pegs with cover until mid-stretch for jockey Damien Bonne and breeder/owner/trainer Etienne Dubois. Kaya Dream won for only the third time in 26 starts and advanced her career earnings to 187,050€.
Kalif Landia (4m Un Charme Fou-Tina Landia) held second at 5.9/1 odds with Benjamin Rochard aboard for trainer/owner A.P. Grimault. Third was 3.5/1 Kyt Kat (4m Booster Winner-Diane de Brevol) with Mathieu Mottier the jockey for trainer Thomas Levesque and Ecurie des Pommiers.
On the Vincennes undercard two year olds contested the Prix de Metz (purse 43,000€,2100 meters autostart, two year olds) and 6.9/1 odds Maya Bee (2f Charly du Noyer-Busy Bee-Quaker Jet) held gamely to win for Franck Nivard timed in 1.14.9kr.
This washer first win in four starts for Ecurie Hunter Valley the owner/breeder and trainer Bastien Michardiere. Muscade Leman (2f For You Madrik-Cerise Leman-Severino) was second a head back at 13/1 odds with Benoit Robin the driver/trainer/owner. Marina Falls (2f Un Charme Fou-Lyndia Volo-Jasmin de Flore) was third for Charley Heslouin the trainer/driver and Ecurie Ellis the owner/breeder.
Earlier this week Jean Michel Bazire achieved a personal record of 4,000 training victories. Great achievement by the superb horseman. He also has recorded 6,718 driving wins including a host of major stakes, for example five Prix d’Amerique victories (Moni Maker, Kesaco Phedo, Up And Quick, Belina Josselyn, Hooker Berry).
