The normal 10,000 fans were onsite this day at Kincsem Park (Budapest) to witness to harness racing, greyhound races, pony races, a monte trot race, racing award presentations and great entertainment, food/beverage and music. It was a superb spectacle for all the fans and even for me online.

The featured trot was the Tippmix – Lovaregyleti DIJ (purse 2,000,000Huf, 1960 meters distance handicap, eight starters) where Dolomit Boy (5m Maximus Lindy-Titan Lady-Ata Star L) scored at 8.4/1 odds timed in 1.17.0kr on the cold foggy day. Sandor Varga teamed the Bernadett Balogh trainee for Prolongo III, the winner’s fifth victory in ’24 from 15 starts. Kabala Menes Kft bred Dolomit Boy.

Cardenas Baba (6f From Above-Ulan Bator Baba-Love You) was second as the 1.3/1 favorite, overcoming a 20 meter penalty with trainer Goran Zolnaji aboard. Anybody (8f OffenbachBigi-Magna Charta-Baltic Bet) was third for trainer/driver Emil Csordas.

The secondary featured trot was the Nyeregbe! DIJ (purse 1,200,000Huf, 1900 meters autostart, six starters) with victory earned by 2.4/1 odds pacesetter Eastwood (4m Maximus Lindy-Cameron Diaz-Baltic Speed) with Laszlo Szokola up for trainer Tibor Hajnal. Second in the 1.19.6kr timed event was 2.9/1 Charming Boy (6m Zola Boko-Night Lady-Tony Oaks) also trainer by Hajnal and driven by Csaba Lakatos. Third home was 1.8/1 odds favorite Csabito R (6g Orecchietti-Hitelezo-Witsends Speedy) driven by trainer  Lajos Marton.

In the Orbico Hungary DIJ (purse 600,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart, 10 starters) the promising 1.5/1 odds favorite Face To Face (3m Nuncio-Salome’Bar-Ganyede) remained unbeaten in five career starts timed in 1.17.7kr. Imre Fazekas again teamed this Bernadett Balogh trainee for Prolongo III. Face To Face won easily to defeat 25.3/1 Fast Track (4m Maximus Lindy) and 6.5/1 Formula (3g Connecting People).

Fazekas also enjoyed a training victory with 2.7/1 Dumbledore (5g Maximus Lindy-Norah Jones-Zador) in the Bet.Lovi.HU Istvan Bubik Memorial (purse 900,000€. 1900 meters autostart, nine starters) timed in 1.18.0kr and driven by Tamas Gajdos in his first driving win. Dumbledore defeated 2.3/1 odds Peter Piper (6g Yankee Glide) and Berill Lady (7f Maximus Lindy) at 5.3/1.

Monte trotting made its second exhibit to the fans as Morena LV (4f Coktail Jet-My Fair DL-Toss Out) won the Ugetolovaglas with jockey Dorottya in the irons for trainer Laszlo Kolozsi. In a close finish Morena LV defeated Une Dame (11f  Vioxx SR-Ilonyos-Supergill) with Anna Jeles aboard followed by Excellence (4f Milliondollar Lux-Nothing Compares MS-Love You) ridden by Elod Morvai.
