US bred and owned Maven starts from post one for Johnny Takter, her first good draw in major European events.

Chief contestants will likely be Oasis Bi, Timoko (Pierre Vercruysse up), Bret Boko, Red Rose America (bred by the late Lou Guida), Ringostar Treb (winner of May 30 Sweden Cup) and Spain’s Trebol.
