Kyt Kat Takes Gr. I Prix des Elites

Today’s Paris-Vincennes card brought out a huge crowd to watch the Gr. I Prix des Elites (monte, 200,000€ purse, 2175 meters) and 3/1 odds Kyt Kat (4m Booster Winner-Diana de Brevol-Rieussec) rallied to win under the direction of jockey Camille Levesque.

Ecurie des Pommiers owns the eight time winner in 19 starts for 487,250€ that Thomas Levesque trains. Race time was 1.10.7kr a career best for Kyt Kat. The 1.2/1 odds favorite Kalif Lindia (4m Un Charme Fou-Tina Landia) held second ridden by Benjamin Rochard for trainer Alexis Philippe Grimault.

Third was 8.5/1 odds rallying Kyrielle des Vaux (4f Rolling d’Heripre-Norsette des Vaux-Hand du Vivier) with Guillaume Lenain in the irons for Charley Mottier the trainer for Dominique Gallienne. Kelvalse Castelets (4f Detrois Castelets) landed fourth at 27/1 for jockey Guillaume Martin.

The Prix de Troyes (Gr. III, purse 70,000€, 10 three year old starters racing 2700 meters) led the undercard today and it went to 4.7/1 Little Brown (3m Goetmals Wood-Blue Grass-Ready Cash) timed in 1.15.1kr with David Thomain at the lines.

Philippe Allaire trains Little Brown for owner/breeder Christophe Toulorge as he won for the sixth time in 17 career starts for 172,710€.  London (3f Rockfeller Center-Tilda) captured second for driver Antoine Dabouis, breeder/owner Danielle Mottier ans trainer Mathieu Mottier.

London was off at 3.3/1 and 17/1 Lagno Mag (3m Singalo-Elisiene Mag) landed third with Matthieu Abrivard driving this Bruno Bourgoin trainee that Michel Agostini owns and bred.

The 1.3/1 odds favorite Lapis Lazuli (3m Ready Cash) was fourth for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire.

Last in this report was the Prix de Correze (purse 46,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 16 European four-five year olds) that went to even money favorite Every Time Winner (4g Face Time Bourbon-Ungold Winner) with Marco Stefani driving for Equos Racing Team Srl and trainer Mauro Baroncini. This was Winner’s second win in five starts in France and he has earned 101,096€.

The 49/1 odds Die Hard (5m Bird Parker-Rosnay) was second with P-Y Verva driving for trainer Pierre Louis Desaunette and owner Massimo Finetti. The 13/1 Jujo Toons (5g United Back-Tata Marguerite) was third with David Thomain aboard for trainer Maxime Bezier and owner Antoine Paul Bezier.
