Lexie de Banville Gr. II Monte winner in Paris

Tonight’s Prix de Basly (Gr. II monte, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, nine three year old starters) went to front stepping 1.4/1 odds favorite Lexie de Banville (3f Real de Lou– Cannebiere-Orlando Vici) timed in 1.14.1kr. Adrien Lamy was the winning jockey for owner/trainer Thomas Levesque as Lexie won for the fourth time in 12 career harness racing starts now for 247,680€.

Lucas (3f Carat Williams-Usaurie de Melodie) was a distance second at 30/1 odds with Arther Rebeche in the irons for trainer Stephane Meunier and owner Michel Komorowski. Lisbonne Dry (3f Singalo-Delicatessen) was third at 20/1 for jockey Paul Philippe Ploquin and Ecurie Dry. Patrick Ploquin trains this one.

In a companion monte event named the Prix Baucis (purse 75,000€, 14 European starters ages 7-11, 2700 meters) the front trotting 10/1 Halfa (7f Offshore Dream-Ofara) prevailed in 1.12.2kr for jockey Alan Gendrot and owner/trainer Stephane Levoy.

The winner now has eight wins in 65 starts for 326,960€ earned. Have Seven (7g Prince d’Espace) was a gaining second at 6.2/1 with William Dersoir-Habib aboard for trainer/breeder Jean Michel Bazire and owner Yannick Desmet. Third home was 2.6/1 Gala d’Urfist (8g Un Charme Fou) with Adrien Lamy in the irons for trainer Franck
