Lionheart takes Prix des Elites

Lionheart (4m Falcao de Laurma-Decadence) easily scored in the Gr I monte Prix des Elites (purse 240,000€, 2175 meters, 12 four year old starters) in a fast 1.10.0kr. Eric Raffin was the victorious jockey on the Nicolas Bazire trainee that Ecurie de Loradour owns.

The 4.6/1 Lionheart won for the ninth time in 16 career starts for 342,530€ earned. The 1.9/1 odds favorite Liberte du Goutier (4f Prodigious-Candie d’Atout) ended second with Mathieu Mottier in the irons for Ecurie Saint Martin and trainer Thierry Duvaldestin. Love Letter (4f Royal Dream-Endiablee) was third at 22/1 for Alexis Collette aboard for Julien Dubois the trainer/owner. Lexie de Banville (4f Real de Lou) at 9/1 and 36/1 odds Lolita Bourbon (4f Orlando Vici) completed the top five.

In the Gr III Prix de Troyes (purse 70,000€, 2700 meters, eight three year old starters) the 5.9/1 odds My Princess (3f Ready Cash-Reine Magic) scored gamely timed in 1.14.9kr with trainer Mathieu Mottier driving for owner D.M. Mottier.

She now shows four wins in 14 career outings for 155,850€ earned. Mistral Castelle (3m Rocklyn) was second at 3.7/1 with Paul Philippe Ploquin up for Stephane Meunier, followed by 7.5/1 Missandei (3f Village Mystic) with Benjamin Rochard teaming the Antonio Ripoll Rigo owned and trained filly. The 33/1 Mademoiselle Jane (3f Ready Cash) was fourth for David Thomain aboard for Clement Thomain and Ecurie des Charmes.
