Lionheart wins Prix Camille Blaisot

It began with the Prix Camille Blaisot (monte Gr II, purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, 10  five year old starters) where 1.3/1 odds second favorite Lionheart (5m Falcao de Laurma-Decadence)scored  in1.11.3kr with Eric Raffin the jockey for Nicolas Bazire training  for Ecurie de Lorradour.

The  winner now spotrts 12 wins in 20 starts for 554,530€ earned. Lisbonne Dry (5f Singalo-Delicatessen) was second at 19/1 ridden by Paul Philippe Ploquin for Ecurie Dry and trainer Patrick Ploquin. Third home was even money favorite London (5f Rockfeller Center-Tilda)with trainer Mathieu Mottier aboard for owner Danielle Mottier.

Lots of entertainment action today as well and much hope pre Amerique.

Next the Prix Jean Rene Gougeon /Le Parisien (Gr III, purse 90,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 15 starters ages 6-8) saw 3.9/1 odds German bred Jazzman (6m Niky-Nefertite del Rio) score in 1.10;.3kr handled by Alexandre Abrivard for M.N.Lusseau and trained by Laurent Claude Abrivard. This was his seventh career victory in 28 starts for 363,060€. The 16/1 odds Ialto d’Hertals (8g Alto de Viette) took second reined by Clement Duvaldestin for Stald’Atom and trained by Thierry Duvaldestin.

Home third was 7/1 Kaptain du Liamone (6g Face Time Bourbon) with Benjamin Rochard up for trainer/owner Frederic Prat. Kuiper (6m Face Time Bourbon) was fourth at 17/1 odds for trainer/driver Daniel Wajersten  and Courant AB.

The 90/1 odds outsider Filou d’Aunou (11g Othello Bourbon-Girl Begonia) took the Prix Jacques Andrieu (monte Gr II,purse120,000€,  2850meters, 15 starters ages 5-11) timed in 1.12.9kr with Marine Beudard aboard.

She rode for owner/trainer Eric Beudard and their veteran mount earned his 20th career  victory in 90 starts for 555,690€ earned.  Just For Back (7g Quinoa du Gers) was second at 5.7/1 with Eric Raffin in the irons for trainer/owner Guillaume Gillot. Jazz in Montreux (7g Akim  du Cap Vert) earned third as the 1.1/1 odds favorite with P-Y Verva  aboard for Gregory Thorel stable the owner/trainer. Je Reve du Bois (7g Reve de Beylev) was fourth for Alexandre Angot at 20/1.

Finally, the Prix Helen Johansson (Gr III, purse 90,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 16 starters ages  6-8 females) saw 5.8/1 Idylle Express (8g Tiego d’Etang-Parmelie) score on the tarmac side with Paul Philippe Ploquin up for  Ecurie Herve Guerin and trainer Pascal Lelievre.

She was clocked in 1.10.7kr to record her 12th career win in 53 starts for 441,920€. The 27/1 Elegance Kronos (6f Muscle Hill-Pampered Winner-Credit Winner-Pampered Princess) held second after a big lead with Alexandre Abrivard up for trainer L.Cl. Abrivard and owner Jean Pierre Barjon. Third was 53/1 Cosmea (6f SJs Caviar-Cilantro) with Michael Nimczyk up for Hermann Lehner and trainer Wolfgang Nimczyk who finished ahead of 13/1 Lightning Stride (6f TwisterBi-Unyielding Stride) with Santtu Raitala up for Antti Ojanper and owner JPT Nordinc AB. Behind these were 7.5/1 Diabel (7f  Nad Al Sheba)  for Benjamin Rochard; Ibiza Bella (8f Bold Eagle) at 34/1;and 46/1 odds Dali Prav (7f Donato Hanover).
