Three €120,000 stakes held at Paris-Vincennes

Paris-Vincennes hosted multiple groupe level tests this evening (May 10) starting with the Gr. II Prix Masina (purse 120,000€, 2700 meters volte start, 15 three-year old fillies) where the well-bred Lotta Bourbon (3f Prodigious-Vita Bourbon-Love You) scored in 1.14.5kr.

Eric Raffin teamed the Sebastien Guarato trainee to her fourth career victory in nine outings. She now has earnings of 137,965€ for Ecurie du Haras de Saint Martin the owner/breeder/ She was off at 2.4/1 and defeated 2.3/1 favorite Louisiane des Bomo (3f Ready Cash-Amelia Jet) that Benjamin Rochard reined for William Bigeon training for Joel Seche. Third was 10/1 Lady (3f Dragon des Racques) and Clement Duvaldestin.

In the Prix Paul Karle (Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, 10 three-year old starters males) the 2.4/1 Luciano Meneut (3m Feliciano-Tione Mika-Royal Dream) scored for Yoann Lebourgeois timed in 1.16.1kr. This Philippe Allaire trainee is owned by Ecurie des Charmes and now has five wins in 10 career starts for 137,965€ earned.

The 18/1 Lucky Jackson (3m Ready Cash-Statue of Liberty) was second with Nicolas Bazire driving the JMB trainee for New Blue LLC. The 21/1 Loulou du Mye (3m Clif du Pommereux) was third for trainer/driver Romain Charles Larue.

And, in the Gr. II monte Prix Jean Gauvreau Etrier 5 Ans Q2 (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, 10 starters five-year-old open) the 3/1 Jeegha Pride (5f Charly du Noyer-Bagheera Pride-Love You) scored handily for jocket/trainer Mathieu Mottier and owner Catherine Richard. The winner now sports seven career wins in 31 starts for 209,100€ earned.

She defeated the 7/10 odds favorite Jean Balthazar (5m Alto de Neite) ridden by Benjamin Rochard for conditioner Pascal Castel. Java Dairpet (5f Vivaldo Bello) was third at 19/1 for jockey Paul Philippe Ploquin.
