Paris-Vincennes hosted two Gr. III harness racing tests this evening (Oct. 20) for two-year-olds (purse 54,000€ for each event, 2200 meters voltstart).
The males contested the Prix Louis Cauchois (nine starters all males) and 2/1 odds Luciano Menuet (2m Feiciano-Flore Mika) scored in 1.16.8kr with Alexandre Abrivard driving for trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Ecurie des Charmes. This colt now has three wins in four career starts for 71,250€ earned.
Second was 22/1 odds Lovino Bello (2m Village Mystic-Louvina Bella) reined by Eric Raffin for trainer Jocelyn Robert and owner Sandrine Robert. The 6/10 favorite Little Brown (2m Goetmals Wood-Blue Glass-Ready Cash) was third with David Thomain driving for trainer Philippe Allaire and breeder/owner Christophe Toulouge. Loulou de Mye (2m Clif di Pommereux-Arista de Mye) landed fourth for trainer/driver Romain Charles Larue.
The filles then contested the Prix Marcel Dejean (eight starters all females) with 1.2/1 favorite Lopigna (2f Alto de Viette-Ecume de Reville) scored with a late rally timed in 1.16.4kr with Eric Raffin teaming the Frederic Prat trainee. Ecurie du Llamone owns the three-time winner in four career starts for 65,640€ earned.
Listen To The Music (3f Brillantissime-Deep Purple-Prodigious) was second at 3.3/1 odds with Alexandre Abrivard aboard the Philippe Alllaire trainee that he also bred and owns. Lilas Castelle (2f El Villagio-Elite de Castelle) was third at 25/1 with Mathieu Mottier driving the Cyrille Buhigne trainee. Luna Nova Gwen (2f Booster Winner – Orca de Strata-Diamant Gede) took fourth money at 2/1 odds for trainer Allaire and driver David Thomain.
