Ludivine wins Prix d’Argences at Vincennes

Younger performers were on stage this day at Paris-Vincennes including claiming races. The featured Prix d’Argences (purse 52,000€, 2100 meters autostart with 12 starters all four year old mares) saw 1.5/1 odds favorite Ludivine (4f Coquin Bebe-Bright Moon-Rolling d’Heripre) score handily timed in 1.12.9kr.

Benjamin Rochard teamed this Franck Leblanc trainee for owner/breeder Jacques Cottel. This was her second career victory now for 77,685€ earned. Finishing second was 18/1 Lagune Piya (4f Face Time Bourbon) with Alexandre Abrivard piloting the L.C. Abrivard trainee for Nathalie Viel-Pierre. La Vista Haufor (4f Face Time Bourbon) landed third at 9/1 odds with Damien Bonne driving for owner/breeder/trainer Christian Bigeon.

Also on the card were two claiming races, one each for three and four year olds. The Prix Noville (purse 18,000€, 2850 meters, 18 three year olds for 20,000€ claiming prices) saw 1.4/1 odds favorite Major Vedaquais (3m Gotland-Dokha Vedquais-Prodigious) score for Yoann Lebourgeois timed in 1.17.9kr. Philippe Allaire owns and trains this two time winner in nine starts for 36,450€.

My Way Leagabin (3f Diablo du Noyer) was second at 4.2/1 for driver Matthieu Abrivard and owner/trainer D.T. Roisseau. Mea Culpa (3g Cristal Money) was third at 5.1/1 odds with Theo Duvaldestin aboard for breeder/owner/trainer Thierry Duvaldestin. Two fillies by Amerique winner and starter in the ’25 edition, Hooker Berry, finished fourth and fifth.

The Prix de Courbevoie (purse 18,000€, 2875 metes distance handicap, 16 four year old starters with 16,000€-22,000€ claiming tags)  saw even-money favorite L’Arc (4g Earl Simon-Fleche Destinee) score in 1.15.8kr for his third career win in eight starts now for 48,045€. This winner and the next two started with a 25 meter advantage, traveling 2850 meters.

The 12/1 Lariflette (4f Rocklyn-Glory Night) was second with Matthias Legros driving for trainer Bruno Marie. Third home was 184/1 odds Laurede Moranzy (4f Eridan) with trainer Pierre Yves Verva aboard.
