Machiavel Bourbon wins Prix du Pantheon

The Prix du Pantheon  (purse 46,000€, 2875 meters, 10 starters three year old males) at Enghien-Soisy showcased still undefeated 8/10 odds favorite Machiavel Bourbon (3m Prodigious-Vita Bourbon) that has won four straight for 44,550€. Timed in 1.15.8kr this half-brother to Face Time Bourbon is trained by J.P. Monclin for Ecurie du Haras de Saint Martin and Eric Raffin was his teamster.

Magic Instinct (3g Atlas de Joudes-Tres Belle Idee) was second at 18/1 driven by Arnaud Desmottes who also trains this one for Patrick Roussel. Third home was 8.3/1 odds Mister Royal (3m Feliciano-Dawa Dry) with Benjamin Rochard piloting the Marc Sassier trainee for Ecurie des Chamres. The 31/1 Maxou Des Ifs was fourth for Franck Ouvrie with fifth to 11/1 Maestro (3m Fabulous Wood and Matthieu Abrivard.

The Prix Florence Lecellier (purse 68,000€, 2875 meters, 11 starters ages 7-11) at Enghien saw 5.9/1 odds Grand Trio Ludois (9g Booster Winner-Racea des Jacquets) with Matthieu Abrivard up for trainer Simon Laloum and owner Alain Laloum. Race time was 1.14.4kr.

Habit de Soiree (8m Booster  Winner-Mamaora) rallied for second at 19/1 odds with Benjamin Rochard aboard for trainer Frederic Senet and breeder/owner Michele Stihl. Home third was 3.4/1 Iscynthe Didjeap (7g Rancho Gede-Souraya de Guez) handled by Eric Raffin for conditioner Jonathan Vanmeerbeck and owner Denis Hadad. The 16/1 Fev de Revolte was fourth for Gabriele Gelormini while 26/1 odds Futur de Chene was fifth driven by Yoann Lebourgeois.
