Paris-Vincennes trotting action resumed after three weeks off with two groupe level monte harness racing tests.
The Paris-Vincennes ( March 21) monte Gr. II Prix Ali Hawas – Etrier 3 Ans Q1 (purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, 12 starters three year old females) saw 1.5/1 odds favorite Masina de Tillard (3f Face Time Bourbon-Toison de Tillard) scored timed in 1.14.5kr.

Mathieu Mottier teamed the Thierry Duvaldestin trainee for Ecurie Hazelaar. Masina now has four wins in eight career starts for 105,400€ earned. The 27/1 odds outsider Mademoiselle Jane (3f Ready Cash-Angelica) was next with Adrien Lamy aboard the Clement Thomain trainee that Ecurie des Charmes owns. Misty Green (3f Love You-Greenpeace) was home third at 3.5/1 with Eric Raffin in the irons for conditioner William Bigeon an owner Joel Seche. Manitas de Truchon (3f Etonnant) was fourth at 12/1 for jockey Anthony Barrier and Richard Westerink the trainer/owner/breeder.

This Jose Davet owned colt now has three wins in six career starts for 105,475€ earned. Stephane Levoy bred this winner. Messi Pass (3m Galius-Salsa Darche) was second at 7.1/1 odds with jockey Eric Raffin aboard the A.P. Grimault trainee that Philippe Savinel owns. Mhum Flying (3m Helgafell-Catalina du Pont) was a distant third at 5.1/1 with Victory Saussaye aboard the Christophe Clin trained and owned colt. Millesime Griff (3m Face Time Bourbon-Dolce Vita Grif) was fourth at 12/1 odds for breeder/owner Ecurie Griff, trainer Sebastien Guarato and jockey Alexis Collette.

This week at Haras de Vautors the champion mare Quomba de Guez foaled an Idaho de Tillard filly, this a half sister to Joumba de Guez. Shown below.
And, in Germany the champion trotteur and stallion Abano As passed at age 28. Jos Verbeeck drove Abano As during much of his career and he was cared for at the farm of Alwin Schockemohle.

Peter Strooper and H.E. Bondo trainer Abano As that won the Prix UET, Prix d’Amerique. Orsi Mangelli, Triossi and Continental.
