The first was for three year olds racing in the Arveresi Lvak Versenye (purse 1,900,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart, seven starters) and Csillagfeny R (3f Maximus Lindy-Lezer-Baltic Bet) scored in 1.19.3kr with Antun Horvatski aboard. Goren Zolvaji trains this filly.
Che Comandante (3m Maximus Lindy-Nikkel Lady-Tony Oaks) was second for Andor Angyal with third to Csipkedd Magad! (3m Maximus Lindy-Gyersulj!-Witsends Speedy) handled by Ferenc Nagy II.
The Kabaka Menes Kft stallion Maximus Lindy (2003, Conway Hall-Athenas Lucky Girl-Tagliabue) completed the sweep in this one. He was a $100,000 yearling at Tattersalls 2004 Sale and at age two was second in the E.H. Harriman Challenge Cup.
In the Ketevesek Nagydija (purse 2,000,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart, seven two year olds) Diamond Ville (2m Maximus Lindy-Izaville-Endless Sands) scored in 1.19.8ikr for trainer/driver Marko Slavic. Dusan (2m Royal Ripple-Baby Yankee-Yankee Class) was a close second for Laszlo Kolozsi, with third to Devoted (2m Maharajah-Wale-Center Field) for Emil Csordas. The winner equaled the stake record set in 2015 by Undercover.
The top aged performers met in the Koztarsasagi DIJ (purse 2,000,000Huf, 2400 meters autostart, nine starters) and the slick gaited Maugli (5g El Nino-Manisha Vita-Zerberus) scored easily for trainer/driver Janko Sagaj at 2.3/1 odds. Race time was 1.15.8kr. The winning sire El Nino (Stallone Jet-Popgun-ABC Freight) earned a 1.11.6kr record and earned 724,914ā¬. Racerstina set the 1.15.0kr stake record in 2013.
Second in this 2021 edition was Vittorina Jet (7f Gruccione Jet-Vanigilla Jet-Park Avenue Joe) for trainer/driver Dusan Zorko. Bonaparte Boss (4g Napoleon-Nikita-Crown Sweep) was home third for Veljko Mazsity.
In the Romi MMS (purse 800,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart, eight starters) Zlatan LIW (6g Miguel Duhamel-Jeanne Sun-Grundyās Ebony) scored in 1.15.3kr at 26/1 odds. Arpad Lakatos teamed the winner that he trains to his 17th career victory in 47 starts.
Krack du Clocher (7g Abano As-Nlla de Clavince-Magot du Revary) was second for Vito Sadl and Longines (7f Conway Hall-Kentucky Love Song-Valley Victor) rallied for third with Andrea Fazekas up, after being blocked by four other rivals until veryh late in the lane.
