Superb trotting events highlighted the November 27 Solvalla, Sweden harness racing card.

In the Baroness Karsks (300,000SEK first money. 2140 meters autostart) the 2.3/1 Mellby Free (7f Muscle Hill-Mellby Ticket-Windsongs Legacy) scored in 1.11.7kr for trainer/driver Bjorn Goop. Mellby Gard AB owns and bred the 20-time winner in 42 starts now for 10,097,330SEK earned.

Miracle Tile (7f Cantab Hall-Shambala Dream-Daguet Rapide) was second for Orjan Kihlstrom and Racing Brodda (6f Prodigious) was third with Rikard N, Skoglund aboard.

In the Konung Carl XVI Gustafs (300,000SEK first prize, 2140 meters autostart) the 1.12kr timed winner was 3.4/1 odds Brother Bill (5g From Above-Clear As A Bell-Super Arnie) reined by Jorma Kontio for trainer Timo Nurmos. This was his 10th career win in 28 appearances now for 6,001,000SEK earned.

Milliondollarrhyme (7g Ready Cash) was second for Ulf Ohlsson and third home was Florlis Baldwin (9f Passing Renka) handled by Kristian Maimin. Gareth Boko was fourth.

On the undercard was the STL Diamanstoet Final (purse to winner 220,000SEK, 2140 meters voltstart distance handicap) and the 40-meter handicapped and 10.2/1 odds Unique Juni (8f Uptown Yankee-Staro Unique-Supergill) scored for trainer Jorgen Westholm and driver Mats E. Djuse. Liquify’Em (4f Crazed-Southwind Flanders-Lindy Lane) was second at 58.2/1 for Ove A. Lindqvist and third home was Ottila Fri (6f Intoxivated) for Petter Karlsson.

The Hall of Fame STL Silverdivision Final (250,000SEK first prize, 2140 meters autostart) went to 1.11.5kr timed Admiral As (5g Ready Cash-Galeria As-SJs Photo) for pilot Orjan Kihstrom and trainer Reijo Liljendahl. He now sports an 18-1-0 slate in 29 career starts for 2,121,500SEK earned. Emoji (5m Broad Bahn) was second for Flemming Jensen with third to Dats Do Cool (6g Classic Photo) for Stefan Persson.

Three year olds took stage in the Breedfers Course (125,000SEK first money, 2140 meters autostart) with victory to 5.6/1 High Line Pellini (3g Ready Cash-Caddie Dream-Viking Kronos) for Erik Adielsson driving for trainer Svante Bath.

Timed in 1.14.5kr this alterered colt is a full brother to 24,711,565bSEK earning Readly Express. High Line Pellini has a 1-1-0 slate in three career starts.

This day Capitol Wise As (3m Vivid Wise As) was second for Jorgen Westholm. Third was It’s A Girl (3f Ready Cash-Reethi Rah Jet-Love You) for Adrian Kolgjini, this filly a full sister to Bold Eagle, winner of 41,444,411SEK and a 39-time winner in 52 starts.

This week the new Café Maharajah was unveiled by the sports’ leaders in Sweden.

Also of note was the second straight career victory by Damien (3m Muscle Hill-Danae-Andover Hall) on November 10 at Solvalla. Orjan Kihlstrom teamed the Danie Reden trainee that was timed in 1.16.8kr over 2140 meters autostart.
