Rookies battle in big card at Vincennes

Two year olds contested Gr. III tests today at Paris-Vincennes starting with the juvenile colts in the Gr. III Prix Timoko (purse 60,000€, 2200 meters voltstart, eight two year old males) with the 6/10 odds favorite Monzon Normand (2m Hohneck-Cingala Normande) scoring timed in 1.16.0kr.

Yoann Lebourgeois teamed the coast to coast winner for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. Monzon won for the fourth time in six outings for 74,075€ earned. Magnum du Choquel (2m Hohneck-Popinee de Timbia) was second at 11/1 odds with Francois Lagadeuc driving for Nicolas Bridault. Marshall de Celland (2m Django Riff-Topaze de Tillard) was third at 2.4/1 with Franck Nivard handling the Sebastien Guarato trainee.

In the filly test the 9/10 odds favorite Marion d’Atout (2f Ready Cash-Topaze d’Atout) scored in the Gr. III Prix Vourasie (purse 60,000€, 2200 meters voltstart, 12 two year old females) timed in 1.16.9kr. David Thomain teamed this Sebastien Guarato trainee for Philippe Barbe to her third straight victory to remain unbeaten. She has earned 49,950€.

Misty Queen (2f Love You-Greenpeace) was second at 3.3/1 with trainer William Bigeon driving for Joel Seche. Madness (2f Quaker Jet) took third at 116/1 odds with 166/1 Midnight Molly (2f Feeling Cash) home fourth.

Thomain. He won for the ninth time in 30 starts for 495,490€ earned. Jezabelle Bie (5f Dijon-All In Las Vegas) was second at 56/1 for jockey Paul Philippe Ploquin and the Izzo trained and owned team. Je M’Envole (5m Joyau d’Amour) was third at 3.9/1 for trainer and rider Mathieu Mottier and owner Jean Pierre Dubois. Jean Balthazar (5m Alto de Viette) was a 4/1 odds fourth for Benjamin Rochard.

Owned for Joel Seche the winner now has banked 72,225€. Lizzano d’Alouette (3m Un Amour d’Haufor) was second for Gabriele Gelormini, at 2.6/1 favorite odds, and trainer Alain Chavatte who is a co-owner with Arnaud Chavatte. Third home was 2.8/1 Lover Man (3m Magnificent Rodney) with trainer Mathieu Mottier aboard.
