Mose Eagle soars in Stoet Derby at Mariendorf

Today’s (Aug. 19) Stoet Derby (purse to winner 51,773€, 1900 meters autostart, 12 starters) at Berlin Mariendorf in Germany saw 6.9/1 Mose Eagle (4f Bold Eagle-Freya Kievitshof) score easily for harness racing reinsman Micha Brouwer and trainer Paul Hagoort, defeating Sinfonte (4f Muscle Hill-Hermine) with trainer Josef Franzl aboard. Home third was Samba Pa Ti (4f Broadway Hall-Desaria Gill) with Dennis Spangenberg at the lines for conditioner Andreas Glaser.

In the Super Trot Cup Final (35,000€ first prize, 2500 meters autostart, 11 starters) the 2.2/1 favorite Carloforte Font (5m Django Riff-Rapsodia Gams) won by three lengths for driver Jaap van Rijn.

Lozano Boko (5g Django Riff-Muscle Magic) earned second for trainer/driver Christophe Fischer; with third going to Purple Rain (7g Fast Photo-Escape) with Robin Bakker aboard for trainer Wolfgang Nimczyk.
