Nob Hill takes Gr II Prix Emmanuel Margouty

The Paris-Vincennes featured Prix Emmanuel Margouty (Gr II, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, 12 two year old male starters) saw 9/10 odds favorite Nob Hill (2m Gu d’Heripre-Idylle Vie) score for trainer/driver Mathieu Mottier timed in 1.14.9kr.

Ecurie D.M. Mottier owns this unbeaten colt in four starts for 94,275€. The 6.1/1 Nuevo Cash (2m Ready Cash-Enamorada) was three lengths back second for Theo Duvaldestin and Thierry Duvaldestin the trainer/owner/breeder. Never Forget (2m Hohneck-Valley Victoria) took third at 57/1 odds handled by Esteban De Jesus for trainer Alexandre De Jesus and owner Ecurie Des Aulnaies) finished ahead of 10/1 Nelson Enge (4m Hohneck-Classical Quality) for Ecurie  Dry, driver Benjamin Rochard and conditioner Marc Sassier.

Next, the Prix de Mansle (Gr III European,purse 70,000€, 2100meters autostart,15 three year old starters) saw Italy’s Ginger Gio (3m Tony Gio-Doris Deo)  score handily in 1.11.6kr at 37/1 odds. Matthieu Abrivard teamed the Sebastien Guarato trainee for Zacon Gio Srl.

This was Ginger Gio’s first win in France and it advanced his earnings to 109,708€. The sire Tony Gio (Varenne-Ilaria Jet-Pine Chip) was a winner of 1,065,415€. Home second was 32/1 odds Gill Doral (3g Dontyouforgetit-Norinka  Lung)  handled by Eric Raffin for trainer Enrico Montagna and owner Antonio Riccio. Maestro Vrie (3m Village Mystic) was third for Mathieu Mottier at 4.2/1 followed by 5.9/1 Manhattan Emge (3m Gotland)driven by Lana Henry.

The Prix Michel Thoury (purse 75,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 16 European starters ages 6-10) was owned by Italy as  2.7/1 odds Dolce Viky (6m Adrian Chip-Mihara)scored  in 1.10.4kr with  Alessandro Gocciadoro the driver/trainer for Merwestraal Racing Stable.

This was the first win in France for Dolce Viky that now has earned 387,676€. Furioso Fligny (10g Quick Wood-So Proud) rallied for second at 9/1 odds and driven by Gabriele Gelormini for Antonio De Jesus who trains for Ecurie Des Aulnaies. Femto de Vauvert (10fRocgfeller Center) was third at 20/1 with Jean Michel Bazire up, followed by 44/1 Gold Mencourt (9m Bird Parker) with Paul Philippe Ploquin aboard.

Finally, the Prix Oscar Collard (Gr  III European ,purse 80,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 15 starters ages 4-5) saw 8.9/1 odds Kuiper (5m Face Time Bourbon-Eddiction) score in 1.10.9kr for Daniel Wajersten driving and training for Stall Courant AB. This was the first win in France for the Sweden invader that has earned 239,836€.

The first four were timed in 1.10.9kr with 3/1 odds Edgar Saba (5g Exploit Caf-Saba del Ronco) home second for driver Gelormini, trains H.E. Bondo and owner Vaporino Srl. Kaptain du Lamone (5g Face Time Bourbon) was third at 5.5/1 with Eric Raffin driving followed by 36/1 Kemia du Chene (5f Bird Parker) and 6.6/1 Fellow Wise As (4m Maharajah).
