The first session of the Arqana-Trot Prix d’Amerique Sale took place today at Deauville.
There were 155 lots presented with 74 sold (47.7%) for 865,000€ an average of 11,689€. The numbers were down from last year when 181 lots generated 104 sales (57.5%) for 1,733,500€ an average of 16,668€. The results this year reflected three high priced lots that ended no sales, they were two Face Time Bourbon sales that showed 190,000€ and 195,000€ bids.
The mare Juliet Papa Bravo (6f Ready Cash-Une Lady En Or-Kaidy Dream) was also a no sale at 320,000€ she in foal to Idao de Tillard. The session toppers (sold or not) are shown below.
Of those sold lot 118 Urgentissime (17f Coktail Jet-Ivre de Victorie) led the way ay 50,000€ to SAS Trotting Bloodstock, she open to a breeding to Face Time Bourbon. The other toppers were stallion shares to Horsy Dream and Booster Winner, with the pedigree pages as follows:
