A field of 15 top harness racing trotters will be at the start Sunday for the Gr. I Prix de France (purse 400,000€, 2100 meters autostart for International 4-11 year olds) at Paris-Vincennes.
Davidson du Pont, the Prix d’Amerique winner, departs from post eight, while the consistent Vivid Wise As has post one. The great 11-year-old mares Billie de Montfort and Bahia Quesnot go from positions four and two respectively.
The Cornulier winner Flamme du Goutier has post six with Theo Duvaldestin aboard. Italy’s Zacon Gio has trainer Jean Michel Bazire at the lines from post five. Zacon has been a disappointment in his five starts in France so far with his best outing a fourth on December 12 with JMB aboard. He is an historical sprinter. The lineup follows:
