in Europe, Top 4

A field of 14 will contest Sunday’s Gr. I International Prix de Paris (purse 400,000€, 4150 meters, the third leg in the France Triple Crown) at Paris-Vincennes.

The Marathon Race lineup incudes five of most recent top performers and four winners of over one million euro. The 1,594,840€ winner Flamme du Goutier (8f Ready Cash) leads the wealthy, she the winner of the January 22nd Prix de Cornulier. Prix d’Amerique winner Hooker Berry (6m Booster Winner) will have trainer Jean-Michel Bazire back at the lines of this 1,427,520€ career winner.

The Philippe Allaire trainee Hohneck (6m Royal Dream), a winner of 1,379,190€, is again in this contest after being third in the Prix de France and Prix de Belgique with a good fifth in the Amerique.  Ampia Mede SM (7f Ganymede), the Prix de France winner of 1,113,096€, will likely be a major factor on Sunday for trainer Fabrice Souloy. She was second in the Amerique and third in the Bourgogne. Last year she was fourth in the Prix de Paris.

An outsider of note might be the Bretagne winner Hip Hop Haufor (6m Up And Quick) that Christian Bigeon trains and drives. He was also a good fourth in the Amerique.
