Off as the 2/1 favorite the Bjorn Goop trained and reined San Moteur (6m Panne de Moteur-Aung Sun Suv) won for the first time in France and gained a Prix d’Amerique ticket with the 120,000ā¬ Prix de Bourbonnais harness racing win Sunday, Dec. 10 at Vincennes, France (Gr. II, Amerique PMU Q2, 2850 meters, 17 starters).
San Moteur set third on the pegs and rallied early lane to the lead and held to victory by a neck timed in 1.12.0kr.
Ecurie Arvidssons owns San Moteur that now has life earnings of 1,188,848ā¬. The 8.9/1 Izoard Vedaquais (6m Bird Parker-Dokha Vedaquais) set the pace at 8.9/1 odds and held gamely for Benjamin Rochard and owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. The 91/1 Gu dāHeripre (7m Coktail Jet-Vedetta dāHeripre) made a strong surge top of lane to reach the leaders and he battled to the line for Francois Lagadeuc and trainer Fabrice Souloy.
The 3.8/1 odds stablemate Ampia Mede SM (7g Ganymede) was fourth for Franck Nivard and trainer Souloy. Hooker Berry (6m Booster Winner) at 10/1 was fifth for Nicolas Bazire ahead of 14/1 stablemate Ganay de Banville (7m Jasmin dee Flore) with Jean Michel Bazire aboard. Seventh was 10/1 Hussard du Landret (6m Bird Parker) for Yoann Lebourgeois. The top three earned Prix d’Amerique starter tickets.

Kana de Beylev (3f Express Jet-Dina de Beylev-Ready Cash) rallied late to score at 10/1 odds in the Prix Ready Cash (Gr. I International, SWC 4Ans Q3, purse 200,000ā¬, 2100 meters autostart, 16 three-year old starters) at Vincennes Sunday.
Benjamin Rochard teamed the William Bigeon trainee for owner Joel Seche as the filly was timed in a quick 1.10.9kr, her eighth victory in 19 starts now for career earnings of 566,800ā¬. The fractions were fast as well (1.06.9kr with 1500 meters to go; 1.09.5kr at the 1000 and 1.10.7kr with 500 remaining).
The dq horse on the inside was King Opera and Eric Raffin. Placed second was 35/1 Katinka du Mouchel (3f Prodigious-Rikita du Mouchel) reined by Clement Duvaldestin for trainer Thierry Duvaldestin and owner Philippe Beauvisage. Placed third was 22/1 Kobayashi (3m Face Time Bourbon-Come On Jet-Goetmals Wood) with Franck Nivard teaming the Tomas Malmqvist trainee for Ecurie Hunter Valley.
Paced four through seven were Koctel du Dain (3m Boccador de Simm) for David Thomain, Fifty Four (3m Fourth Dimension) and Bjorn Goop, Kabaka de Guez (3f Eridan) and pilot Nicolas Bazire and Edy Girifalco Gio (3m Victor Gio) with Giampaolo Minnucci up.
