San Moteur wins STL Gold at Arjang

San Moteur (6m Panne de Moteur-Aung Sung Suu Kyl-Ready Cash) was a three quarter length harness racing winner of today’s (July 15) STL Gold (purse to winner 600,000SEK or 50,400€, 1640 meters autostart, 10 starters) timed in 1.10.2kr at Arjang, Sweden.

Bjorn Goop drove and trains the now 19-time winner in 25 starts for 11,637,540SEK in life earnings. He has four wins in five 2023 starts. Stall Arvidssons AB owns the winner that was off as the 1.46/1 odds favorite.

Finishing second was 18.8/1 Missle Hill (8m Muscle Hill-India Hall-Garland Lobell) reined by Orjan Kihlstrom for trainer Daniel Reden and owner Stall Zet. Unico Broline (7g Cantab Hall-Notre Histoire-Muscles Yankee) was third for Erik Adielsson at 23.8/1 odds with pacesetter Click Bail (7m Catab Hall-Fun At Parties-Lindy Lane) fading to fourth with Per Lennartsson aboard for trainer Stefan Melander at 4.2/1 odds.

On the undercard was the STL Silver (125,000SEK to the winner, 2640 meters autostart, nine starters) with that victory earned by 4.2/1 High On Pepper (5g Ready Cash-Piece Of Work-Yankee Glide) timed in 1.14.4kr. This Katja Meikko trainee was reined by Jorma Kontio to his 12^th career win in 29 starts for owners Pepper AB and Silkstone HB. He now has five 2023 wins in eight appearances.

Santos de Castella (6g Readly Express) and Mr Mah Can (6g Maharajah) trailed the winner to the line.
