Two groupe level events were on stage this evening (May 27) at Vincennes.
In the Prix Caecilia (Gr. III, purse 70,000ā¬, 2700 meters European four year olds) the 41/1 odds outsider Caio Titus Bond (4m Varenne-Petra Axe) scored in 1.13.6kr with Mathieu Mottier at the lines for trainer Sebastian Guarato and Ecurie Stefani Bondi. He won for the second time in France and advanced his life earnings to 122,986ā¬.Ā Iron Meslois (4m Titan dāOccagnes) held second at 10/1 odds for Pierre Belloche and the 5/10 favorite Cresus di Poggio (4m Muscle Hill) was third for Jean Michel Bazire.
In the Prix du Crepuscle (Gr. III, purse 90,000ā¬, 2100 meters autostart, European 5-10 year olds) the 1.1/1 odds favorite Ampia Mede SM (6f Ganymede-Polimpia Slide SM) scored impressively in 1.10.8kr for reinsman Franck Nivard, trainer Fabrice Souloy and Scuderia SE. Fin. This was Ampiaās 14th win in France now for 616,996ā¬ in career earnings. Elie de Beaufour (8g Royal Dream) was second at 1.7/1 for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire. Rebella Matters (7f Explosive Matter) was third with Christophe Martens up for trainer JMB. Elvis du Vallon was fourth for David Thomain.
