Romain Derieux trains this one for Ecurie AB Trot. 46/1 Canberra Tonique (4f Jasmin de Flore-Prime Beautiful) took second for J-F Senet ahead of 26.1 Capitole Meslois.
Lightly raced three year-olds contested the €18,000 Prix de Malmoe at CSM over 2150 meters autostart. 11 rivals battled with the win going to 1.18.1kr timed and 7/10 odds favorite Duc de Castelle (3m Quaker Jet-Miss Castelle) with trainer Romain Derieux driving for Antonio De Sousa. 42/1 d’Anais Mauve (3f Sam Bourbob-Queen Mauve) was second for Ch-A Mary ahead of 6/1 Dingue de Toi (3m Ready Cash-Raison de Vivre) for Kevin Vanderschelden, trainer Yves Boireau and owner J-P Dubois. The latter’s dam is a daughter of Love You-Life Is Good-Defi d’Aunou. The second dam has produced two winners of over US$100,000 and third dam Slave (by Jiosco) produced six US$100,000 winners plus the broodmare Hungarie F, she the dam of Slave Dream (by Pearsall Hanover), a US$874,000 winner of multiple top-level contests in North America.
At Wolvega there were several well-bred winners as Tyrrell As (4m Daguet Rapide-Isola dei Vento) scored in 1.15.7kr for Robin Bakker, trainer Paul Hagoort and Victoria Park Stable.
