The Spanish invader, that usually races well at the winter meet, is owned by Olivia Crespi-Perez and was off today at 5.3/1. Pacesetter (at 59/1) Tabrize de Gete (8m Ganymede – Kabrizia du Gete) held second for driver David Thomain with Sweden’s 9/10 favorite Traveling Man (10m Supergill – Kimberly Lobell) third for Bjorn Goop. Italy’s Orione Degi Dei (7g Conway Hall – Elissa Dei) was fourth at 12/1 for Franck Nivard.

The Gr. II Prix Holly du Locton (€120,000, monte, 11 starters, 2175 meters) ended in an easy victory,clocked in 1.15.2kr, for 3/2 favorite Ciperla Mag (3f Quaker Jet – Perle du Revary) handled by Mathieu Mottier for trainer Bruno Bourgoin. 15/1 Corsica (3f Coktail Jet – Jarifante) was second for Anne Barthelemy and trainer Guillaume Moinon, ahead of Carina de Gueron (3f Paisy Dream – Narbonne) with jockey Antoine Lherete for trainer Franck Anne at 55/1.
Earlier in the solid card, the Prix de Mancenat (€48,000 purse, 2175 meters, 12 starters) went to 20/1 Avatar Bataille (5m Gazouillis – Quinzeline) with trainer/owner/driver Philippe Ternisien.
