Frode Hamre’s harness racing trainee Stoletheshow (9m Dream Vacation-Abba Hall-Garland Lobell) gamely raced first over throughout and just got up in the final strides to win the Prins Daniels (Gr. II International, STL Gold, 34,400€ to the winner, 1609 meters autostart) at Gavle racetrack in Sweden.
He was off at 9.5/1 odds and was timed in 1.09.7kr for his sixth win this year in eight starts. He now has 33 career wins in 94 starts. Magnus Djuse was the winning driver for owner Global Glide AB.
Click Bait (8m Cantab Hall-Fun At Parties-Lindy Lane) was a game front end trotting second with Per Lennartsson up for trainer/owner Stefan Melander Stall TZ. The 2,4/1 odds Hail Mary (8m Googoo Gaagaa-Dreams-Victory Dream) was third from a blocked pocket with Bjorn Goop up. Clarissa was fourth for Alessandro Gocciadoro and Staro Mack Crowe landed fifth for driver Jorma Kontio.
Presumably Stoletheshow and Click Bait will have Elite Race tickets to go with 14 already set.
