Stoletheshow wins Finlandia AJO at Vermo

Stoletheshow (8m Dream Vacation-Abba Hall-Garland Lobell) rallied late in the lane from his first over spot to win today’s (May 7) Finlandia AJO (purse 200,000€ with 110,000€ to the winner at Vermo Racecourse in Finland, 1620 meters autostart) by a short length from Bengurion Jet (6m Maharajah-Love Me Tender-Supergill).

Magnus A. Djuse teamed the winner for trainer Frode Hamre and owner Global Glide AB. Stoletheshow now has 23-20-8 slate in 73 career starts for 914,045€ earned. He was off at 5.8/1 odds from post four and recorded his second 2023 victory in four starts.

Bengurion Jet left from post 3 at 6/1 and was reined by his trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro. The 22/1 pacesetter Global Withdrawl (8g SJs Caviar-Umbrella Broline-Nordin Hanover) held on for third with Santuu Raityala driving for trainer Salo Matias. Click Bait was fourth for Per Lennartsson and Don Fanucci Zet rallied to gain fifth for Orjan Kihlstrom. The race time was 1.10.6kr. Hede Darling was scratched.
