Four top trotting tests were on the stage Saturday (Dec. 17) at Paris-Vincennes.
The Prix Michel Thoury (purse 75,000€, 2100 meters autostart, European 6-10 year olds) went to 1.11.0kr timed and 5.9/1 odds Oracle Tile (6m Ready Cash-Exotic Sund) with Clement Duvaldestin aboard. The Stall Ready To Win owned trotter is trained by Thierry Duvaldestin and it was his first win in France now for life earnings of 229,347€.
The 19/1 Al Capone Stecca (6m Napoleon Bar) was second for Franck Ouvrie ahead of third finishing 33/1 Galileo Bello (6m Aladin d’Ecajeul) with Benjamin Rochard at the lines.
In the Gr. III Prix Oscar Collard (purse 80,000€, 2100 meters autostart for European 4-5 year olds) the 1.3/1 favorite Bilo Jepson (5g Timoko-Tiffany de; Rio) scored in 1.12.7kr with David Thomain aboard for trainer Vitale Ciotola. This was his fifth victory now for 281,488€ earned.
Toto Borosso (5g Ready Cash-Bibi Borosso) took second at 7.7/1 for trainer/driver Johan Untersteiner. Third was 7.2/1 Clarissa (5F Exploit Caf-Nikelia) with trainer Alesssandro Gocciadoro the pilot.
The Gr. III Prix de Mansle (purse 70,000€, European male three year olds) saw 17/1 Diluca Mo (3m Lorenz del Ronco-Peralopenat) victorious timed in 1.12.5kr with Gabriel Gelormini at the lines for trainer Afrim Sharindra. He rallied late on the far outside for the victory. This was the winner’s second win and it raised his career earnings to 110,740€.
The 18/1 odds Desiderio (3m Robert Bi-Tessa d’Esi) was second with Andrea Farolfi up for trainer Mauro Baroncini. Third was the 1.3/1 favorite Gercault (3m Mucle Hill-Reverie d’Ar) handled by Christophe Martens for trainer Vincent Martens.
Two year olds contested the Prix Emmanuel Margouty (Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters) with 3.8/1 Kamehameha (2m Uniclove-Vivolta Jet) scoring timed in 1.14.8kr. Eric Raffin teamed this Tomas Malmqvist trainee for breeder/owner Ecurie Hunter Valley. This was the winner’s fourth career victory now for 131,250€ earned.
The even money favorite Koctal du Dain (2m Boccador de Simm-Ophelie) took second money with David Thomain the pilot for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. 6/1 odds King Opera (2m Ready Cash-Unlimited Jet) landed third for trainer/driver William Bigeon and owner Joel Seche. His breeder was Ecurie Hunter Valley.
