June 4, 2017 – Gyorgy Horvath piloted his co-owned, with Pimri Bt., Sultana Jet (6f Igor Font-Art Deco-Diamond Way) to a 1.17.6kr victory in Sunday’s featured Ivisa Sun DIJ (purse 600,000Huf, 1900 meters autostart) at Kincsem Park. Imre Fazekas trains the winner. Using stalking tactics with the usual front-ending mare (shown below), driver Horvath made a powerful move with 500 meters remaining, surged to the front off the final bend, and then pulled away to a two length victory over the fast closing Henrik Ibsen AT (5m Worship-Her Own Child-Imposant Sund) in rein to trainer Tibor Hajnal. Szacharin (6f Vanito-Inzulin-Valley Guardian) was third for trainer/driver Istvan Papp.
Horvath produced a co-owner, with Pimri Bt, double as 16/1 Vilagszere (3f Beissinger Hanover-Lovely Beauty-Valley Guardian) scored in the Nyeretlenek II (purse 360,000Huf,1900 meters autostart) for trainer/driver Imre Fazekas, timed in 1.23.1kr. Also on the undercard was the Utas DIJ (purse 360,000Huf, 1800 meters) and victory was earned in that event by Ivan Pavlov AT (4m Tony Oaks-Impromtu Hall) timed in 1.18.2kr and driven by trainer Tibor Hajnal.
