The evaluation of the new harness racing stallions operating in Sweden has just been completed by the Swedish Breeding Commission.
Six stallions approved for the new year have received a full personal report. Among them is the Norwegian-born international champion Cokstile (Quite Easy).
The document also notes eight foreign stallions whose applications have been submitted to have their offspring entered in Part A of the Swedish studbook, which allows them to take part in all selection races.
Of these eight, four French sires are included: Hooker Berry (Booster Winner), IdƩal du Pommeau (Ready Cash), Bilibili (Niky) and Boccador de Simm (Rieussec). The list also includes Ecurie D (Infinitif), now based in the USA, and Back of The Neck (Ready Cash), an American son of Ready Cash.
Hooker Berry received the highest rating with a “very high estimated breeding value”. Ideal du Pommeau, Ecurie D. and Back of the Neck were awarded a “high estimated breeding value”.
