Swedish Breeding Commission approves stallions

The evaluation of the new harness racing stallions operating in Sweden has just been completed by the Swedish Breeding Commission.

Six stallions approved for the new year have received a full personal report. Among them is the Norwegian-born international champion Cokstile (Quite Easy).

The document also notes eight foreign stallions whose applications have been submitted to have their offspring entered in Part A of the Swedish studbook, which allows them to take part in all selection races.

Of these eight, four French sires are included: Hooker Berry (Booster Winner), Idéal du Pommeau (Ready Cash), Bilibili (Niky) and Boccador de Simm (Rieussec). The list also includes Ecurie D (Infinitif), now based in the USA, and Back of The Neck (Ready Cash), an American son of Ready Cash.

Hooker Berry received the highest rating with a “very high estimated breeding value”. Ideal du Pommeau, Ecurie D. and Back of the Neck were awarded a “high estimated breeding value”.
